A lot of people just can’t face the fact that they’re getting older, and their bodies are not the same. Many respond by training too hard. Why is this so dangerous and how does it threaten your long-term health? What is the mental shift from competitor to normal gym bro? Why is telemedicine the future? On this episode, fitness expert Jay Ashman shares the importance of playing the long game with your training and talks about bouncing back after a major health scare.

Three Takeaways

  • If you train, have a great physique, and aren’t doing ART massage therapy, you’re missing out.
  • Regarding testosterone: you can’t maintain something that’s already almost gone as you get older, the only way is to optimize.
  • You can be strong when you’re older, but what’s the trade-off?

At the start of the show, Jay shared on his upbringing and what it was like working as a bouncer. Next, we talked about the right way to approach training as you age. We also talked about why so many impressionable kids have the wrong idea of fitness and weight training, and why it’s so important to take the slower process to strength.

We also discussed:

  • Optimization therapy and why we need it
  • Why telemedicine is the future
  • How Jay reshaped his life after a serious health scare
  • Intermittent fasting and why we don't need to eat as much as we do

It’s necessary to train with longevity in mind-- not just the short term gains of pumping as much iron as possible. The right way to do it is slow and steady, not hard and fast. The wrong approach will destroy your body and only lead to pain. Why wouldn’t you consider a progressive dosage of testosterone in addition to mitigating other risk factors? The ultimate goal is to build muscle, because muscle is the greatest deterrent to aging.

Testosterone levels for the average man begin to drop about 10% per decade. What are some of the misconceptions and misnomers that are getting in the way of people using it? Why is the idea that testosterone causes prostate cancer such a huge myth? How do side effects come about when you’re on TRT? On this episode, we talk all things TRT with fitness expert and best-selling author, John Romaniello.

"For the vast majority of individuals, testosterone supplementation is not a question of "if", but of "when". Once you look at it through that lens, you ask yourself: 'Why am I waiting?'." -John Romaniello

Takeaways

- Establish a testosterone baseline by getting tested every 2 years in your mid-twenties onward. Only when you establish a baseline can you really know when things start to drop.

- There’s a very good chance that an overweight person can have elevated estrogen symptoms because fat tissue is where the aromatase enzyme hangs out.

- Sleeping 6 hours or less per night for 14 days can drop testosterone levels by up to 15%.

At the start of the show, we talked about the importance of establishing your testosterone baseline and how low you should let it get before looking into doing TRT. We also talked about why biochemical uniqueness is the ultimate determinant, and the importance of finding the right needle size to reduce scar tissue. John also talked about mitigating fluctuations, and why getting less than 6 hours of sleep for as little as 14 days can have a catastrophic effect on your natural testosterone levels. Towards the end, we talked about the use of peptides.

We also discussed:
- Testosterone and increased quality of life in the short term vs. decreased longevity in the long term
- The difference between sexual dysfunction and decreased libido
- Why TRT does not cause cancer
- TRT and depression

From age 30, physically speaking, everything is on a downward slope. All you’re doing by optimizing is decreasing the grade of that slope. If you do testosterone right, there are no side effects and you won’t need other medications unless there’s a medical need. Testosterone in high amounts exacerbates things to which you were already prone, which can explain the side effects.

Some of the benefits you’ll experience are reduced “brain fog”, increased cognition and clearer thought patterns-- and this is just the beginning. The correct testosterone optimization protocol can correct many issues. So get your blood work done, and find the right doctor to support you.

Less that 1% of all federal funding is dedicated to studying, preventing and addressing the underlying causes of disease. Why is it so crucial for us to solve this problem? How do you boost fertility without compromising life span? Why is the sick care system making optimization difficult? On this episode, Managing Director of the Inovium Ovarian Rejuvenation Trial, Aaron Traywick is here to share on his work in age management, fertility and his views on the current state of health care.

The truth is always a lot more clearer when it’s decentralized. -Aaron Traywick

Takeaways

  1. The government wants to make sure that companies can recoup their investment and they do that by offloading the cost to the patient.
  2. An individual has a right to self-experiment with something they believe will change their health.
  3. The more data and information we share with each other, the more power we have.

At the start of the show, Aaron shared on his work with politicians on the Hill, and why it’s so necessary for us to work on preventing the causes of the diseases of aging. Next, we talked about how Crispr Cas9 can be used to augment, change and edit a disease state. Aaron also talked about how the government is making the consumer pay for the investments of healthcare companies. Towards the end of the show, he shared on his fertility work.

We also discussed;

  • The importance of optimizing while maintaining fertility
  • Why the masculinity of men is dwindling
  • Why the money’s in the medicine, not the cure
  • How stronger truths will create a stronger world

The only thing we can do to fight the ills of today’s medical system is take to matters into our own hands and be proactive. One of the most powerful ways we can be proactive is by sharing data and information, so we can overwhelm the current system to change it. The powers that be can’t suppress information at the rate and speed that it’s evolving. Healthcare providers don’t have a way of paying for the cure of diseases, all they can do is cover chronic illness, which is keeping us stuck in this paradigm. If we can take optimization to the next level, we can preventatively tackle the world’s top killer diseases.

Medical marijuana has been a game changer for people with conditions like insomnia, anxiety and chronic pain. Why properties make it such a powerful antidote? How do you use it without getting high on it? Why is correct dosing so critical? On this episode, The Medical Marijuana Expert, Dr. Rachna Patel joins us to discuss her work.

You have to use medical marijuana within certain parameters to get the benefits of it but not the adverse effects. -Dr Rachna Patel

Takeaways

  1. For patients with heart disease, too much marijuana can actually increase your heart rate and exacerbate underlying conditions.
  2. You don’t have to have marijuana on a daily basis because it gets stored in the fat cells of your body.
  3. People who experience lot of pain have more cannabinoid receptors. These help your body hamper pain signals.

At the start of the show, Dr. Rachna shared how she got started, and how her frustration with opiate addiction and overdoses led her to her work with medical marijuana. Next, she shared on the conditions she most commonly treats, as well as the people who shouldn’t use marijuana. We also discussed how marijuana affects sleep and concentration levels. Towards the end of the show, Dr. Rachna shared how she’s taking her business virtual.

We also discussed;

  • The cumulative build-up effect of marijuana
  • How marijuana affects the emotional processing of pain
  • Marijuana and its connection to increased cognition

Chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia are the most common conditions that medical marijuana treats. These are also the conditions for which pharmaceutical medications are most prescribed. This means that if the use of medical marijuana became more widespread, it could potentially replace all of those medications. This could literally wean millions of Americans off addictive and lethal opiates, and this would completely transform the current medical system. Marijuana has a biphasic effect, too little won’t do anything and too much will make your pain worse. That’s why it’s so important to get the dosing on point, so that your intake falls within the optimal dosing range. Ultimately, you want to fall in the therapeutic window so you’re not experiencing side effects.

Since the 1950s, a silent warfare has been waged on the masses, and it has reached its most critical level now. Who is pulling all the strings and injecting the Progressive Virus into the population? What is the ultimate goal of the system that’s dumbing down humanity? What do we need to do to reclaim our power? On this episode, bestselling author of the book Of Tyrants and Tellers, Sonny Arvado, shines a light on the systems that are enslaving us, and how we can protect ourselves.

A lot of people think when it comes to any type of warfare, you need to brainwash an entire population. You just need to strategically get the established individuals under your wing. -Sonny Arvado

Takeaways

  1. The American university system is the perfect scam. It infect students with the progressive virus and enslaves them with debt.
  2. The things that happen when a man turns 80 are now happening in teenagers and men in their 20s.
  3. Your health and physical well-being is the most important defense against the war on men.

At the start of the show, we talked about the evil and darkness we are seeing in the world and who is behind it. Next, we discussed the American university system and why it’s nothing more than a scam. Sonny went on to share what made him write Of Tyrants and Tellers, and he gave tips to help men take ownership of their lives. Towards the end of the show, he talked about why smart, strong men are so necessary, now more than ever.

We also spoke about;

  • The media’s role in the war against the sexes
  • How celebrities have been weaponized by the elites controlling the population
  • How to win the compression war against our bodies

The world needs smart, strong masculine leadership, and it’s no coincidence that there’s a mission to dumb us down and make it impossible for us to stand up for ourselves. The media and the elites pulling the strings want us to live in fear and stay enslaved to the system. If you put all the pieces together, their ultimate goal is depopulation and eugenics. So how do we defend ourselves in this war? The number 1 thing you can do is take care of your health and fitness so you can become bigger, stronger and healthier. It’s all about regaining strength across the spectrum, in mind, body and spirit. Everything we need to survive will flow from that.

The human body can heal itself if it’s given the right tools. Why is hyperbaric therapy one of the most powerful ways you can rejuvenate your body and prevent potential concussions? What are microvascular ischemic changes? What are simple ways to live a more insulin controlled lifestyle? On this episode, Dr Scott Sherr is here to share on the limitless advantages of hyperbaric therapy.

If you optimize everything, you can have a dramatic effect on the rest of your life. -Dr. Scott Sherr

Takeaways

  1. There’s no longer a barrier of entry for women who want to optimize their hormones.
  2. There’s good data that shows that if you get into a hyperbaric chamber before you potentially get concussed your brain will not have a severe injury if it does get concussed.
  3. If you move more you’ll breathe better.

At the start of the show, we talked about how the only way to fix the medical systems is for doctors to create their own. Next, we talked about why there’s no longer a barrier of entry for women who want to do hormone replacement therapy. Scott also shared on the power of giving your body the right nutrients, the right diet and the right optimization. Towards the end of the show, we talked about the future of healthcare.

We also spoke about;

  • Microvascular ischemic changes as you age
  • How to invest in a health management plan
  • How hyperbaric therapy rejuvenates and reenergizes your body

The truth is, you are either investing in your health or investing in your disease. Hormone optimization, living a insulin controlled controlled lifestyle, good nutrition and exercise are all ways you can invest in a health management plan. The body has a wonderful ability to heal itself, and it doesn’t matter how old you are, or how your lifestyle was before. If you start now, you will change the rest of your life for the better.

Insulin controlled living is the biggest topic in fitness, nutrition and optimization right now. What are the dangers associated with not keeping your insulin intake under control? What is the biggest mistake most intermittent fasters make when it comes to training? How are people wasting massive amounts of time at the gym? On this episode, Alexander Juan Antonio Cortes is here to share high-value wisdom on getting the most out of your workouts, and dialing in your insulin.

If you want to have average health, have average health. If you want to have optimal health, you’re going to have to sacrifice something and/or go without it for sometime. -Alexander Juan Antonio Cortes

Takeaways

  1. Insulin sensitivity is high in the morning and worse at the end of the day.
  2. There’s so many angles that a muscle can work against gravity, if you know those angles you know how to train those muscles.
  3. Where most intermittent fasters go wrong is training fasted.
  4. You adapt exercises to suit a person, you don’t try to make someone suit an exercise.

At the start of the show we talked about insulin control, and how insulin production contributes to the diseases of aging. Next, we talked about how bad our social ignorance of our own biology is, and why most people don’t need as many carbs as they eat. We also discussed why you shouldn’t train fasted, “we don’t want to train a muscle under conditions of low glucose and low circulating glycogen.” Alex also shared how the environment is slowly distilling poison in us, and the factors we can control on a daily basis to mitigate it.

We also spoke about;

  • The difference between optimized training and ineffective training
  • The rise of depression in women
  • The importance of getting your blood work done every year after 25
  • Estrogen dominance

People have no conceptualization of how holistically whole their health is, they tend to have a compartmentalized attitude. Everything you do is connected and self-determined, so optimizing your hormones, insulin controlled living and exercising are all in your hands, not a doctor’s. The people who are living their best lives have taken personalized control of their health, and that’s the best approach. As you age, your body will change and you have to ask yourself these objective questions, what do you want your quality of life to be, and how optimal can you keep your health? Base all your methodologies on those two questions.

Outside of the UK, it’s pretty brutal for men to get hormonally optimized, and to even look into age management. What is the best way to go about getting the right help with TRT? Why is building muscle such a critical part of being healthy? Why does TRT work best when you’re actually exercising and taking good care of yourself? On this episode, we are joined by Michael Kocsis who shares on these topics, and on the work he’s doing.

You cannot see the benefits of hormone optimization if you don’t engage in some form of exercise. -Michael Kocsis

Takeaways

  1. There’s nothing greater than muscle to stop the aging diseases.
  2. The average guy has convinced himself that he can’t afford TRT but he can.
  3. You shouldn’t be going to the doctor under the age of 25 unless you have a serious health issue.

At the start of the show, we talked about the state of hormone optimization medicine in other parts of the world. We also talked about the importance of not just focusing on sickness. We also discussed why muscle is the greatest deterrent to aging diseases and the importance of putting fitness and TRT together.

We also discussed;

  • The problems with the way doctors handle patients
  • Sustanon as a delivery system
  • Why you need to avoid processed foods

There are so many pitfalls of the socialized medical care system. A lot of the physicians put more focus on sickness than they do on wellness, and doctors would rather prescribe a chemical than natural testosterone. To beat these pitfalls, you have to take charge of your own health and find a doctor who really understands what you need. It’s also important that you eat right and workout so that you’re getting the full benefit of your work with hormone replacement therapy. When you get the sweat and endorphins going, the testosterone works that much better and it will help with recovery.

Most intermittent fasting gurus don’t know anything about training. What are the keys to training and fasting? What are the main benefits of the metabolic blowtorch diet? How does it impact your body’s disease resistance and give you better results? On this episode, Daniel Kelly’s back to share on his work on the Metabolic Blowtorch Diet, changing perspectives on testosterone and why being leaner is the secret to health.

Some diet programs are so focused on actual weight at the expense of skeletal muscle mass. -Daniel Kelly

Takeaways

  1. The question isn’t whether your testosterone is going to be lowered, it’s what you’re going to do about it.
  2. You deserve carbs after you train hard with weights.
  3. Average people who did alternate fasting lost 12,6 pounds of body fat and lost 0 skeletal muscle.
  4. You can fast two or three times a week and on the day you don’t fast, you train, lift weights and eat more carbs.

At the start of the show, we talked about the decline of sperm production around the world, and how that is affecting global conception rates. Next we talked about why obesity is the world’s greatest disease and why people lose so much body fat when they do alternate fasting. Towards the end of the show, we spoke about how fasting reduces your inflammatory factors and why carbs are something you earn from exercise.

We also discussed;

  • Why the human endocrine system is under siege every single day
  • The impact alternate fasting has on skeletal muscle
  • Why fasting is more psychological than physical
  • How the Metabolic Blowtorch Diet improves your workouts

What most people don’t realize is that they are reducing their calorie intake so much that it is affecting their metabolism and working against their health. You end up hating yourself, hating the diet and perpetuating bad habits. When you diet and train the right way, you’ll get leaner and it will be metabolically okay for you to slack on your training days, your body will be able to handle carbs more, you’re more sensitive to insulin, and your muscle works like a really great pump. If you build as much muscle as possible as you age, you’ll be more resistant to disease, and the diseases of aging cannot show up if a person is well-muscled.

Preventative medicine is always a rearview mirror practice. What are things we have learned about aging and hormones? What are the necessary tests needed to determine how optimized your health is? Why is it beneficial to stop being controlled by food? On this episode we are joined by the great Dr. Ted Achacoso, who provides valuable insights on these matters.

Medicine taught us that hormones decline because we age, but we actually age because hormones decline. -Dr. Ted Achacoso

Takeaways

  1. Illness medicine diagnoses and treats disease, health optimization medicine detects and corrects imbalances.
  2. The most common cause of falls in adults is sarcopenia or lack of muscle tissue.
  3. If you can’t really control what you eat, control the time that you eat.
  4. All food and caloric intake should be determined based on activity level, insulin sensitivity and body fat.

At the start of the show, we talked about what conventional medicine got wrong about aging. Next, we talked about the tests Dr. Ted runs to optimize his patients. We also talked about how medical advancements have allowed us to learn more about the human body, down to the cellular level. Dr Ted also shared the importance of dialing in what and how you eat and towards the end of the show, we talked about metformin.

We also discussed;

  • Why aging is a myth
  • The relationship between fasting and mitochondria
  • The focus that comes from fasting
  • The difference between food sensitivity and allergy

Advancements in medicine and research have taught us that getting a control on hormones gives us a handle on aging, not the other way round. By keeping track of food sensitivity, micronutrient and hormone levels and testing for gut barrier integrity, people can have a better understanding of what we need to dial in to stay optimized. The goal is to get so addicted to the feeling of wellness that you know when you’re off kilter.

Metformin is one of the oldest and most studied drugs on earth, but a lot of people in the medical community are still hesitant to prescribe it. What are the benefits of this drug for people with different health problems and needs? What does it do for weight, insulin levels and high blood sugar? Does it make people hypoglycemic? On this episode, Dr Nelson Vergel gives a presentation on different studies of metformin and why it’s a great drug to use.

Testosterone-metformin combination therapy decreased total and LDL cholesterol, uric acid, hsCRP, homocysteine and fibrinogen, and it increased plasma testosterone. -Dr. Nelson Vergel

Three Takeaways

  1. Metformin shifts gut bacteria and gives patients the gut biome composition of a leaner person.
  2. Metformin doesn’t decrease blood sugar to hypoglycemic level.
  3. In HIV positive patients, studies have shown a reduction in T-cell exhaustion with the use of metformin

At the start of the show, we talked about why metformin is such a hot topic right now, and Dr. Nelson began his lecture on metformin, starting with its history, benefits and some of the reasons why it causes patients to lose weight. We also discussed its benefit for people with cancer, and overweight people. Towards the end of the show we talked about what people get wrong about the ketogenic diet.

We also discussed;

  • How metformin affects the gut biome
  • Metformin’s impact on HIV positive patients
  • Why metformin is better than berberine
  • Metformin and diabetic mortality rates

Metformin is a hot topic right now, and with good reason. It has a lot of benefits, it is affordable and it has a great many studies backing it up. It dilates vessels, it decreases insulin and blood sugar, it improves metabolism of glucose, cardiovascular protection and it also decreases weight and lipids. Testosterone and metformin work very well together when it comes to body composition and inflammation. Metformin has also shown an ability to increase lifespan for people with cancer, and it helps people with HIV a great deal. There no risks with metformin unless you have some sort of renal issue, or take a drug with a contra-reaction.  If you’re going to start taking, it start low, and go slow.

The mainstream message is that you have to exercise to stay lean, but that’s a fallacy. What is truly needed to be healthy and avoid aging diseases? Why is metformin such a great supplement? What is causing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease? On this episode, we are joined by Dennis Mangan, who shares on these insights and provides high value data and recommendations.

A training program integrated with intermittent fasting will get you insulin insensitive. Once you get insulin sensitivity, you’ll be a lot more adapted to fasting. - Dennis Mangan

Three Takeaways

  1. The biggest hurdle to becoming fast adapted is psychological.
  2. Cancer feeds on insulin, sugar, and iron. If all these are under control you can lower your risk.
  3. Metformin applied topically speeds up the wound healing process.

At the start of the show, Dennis talked about intermittent fasting, and why it’s so important to get good nutrition. Next, we talked about gut biome and how easy it is to get fast adapted. We also talked about the consequences of poor insulin sensitivity, poor food choices, sugar and GMOs. The importance of food and meal prep.

We also discussed;

  • The difference between metformin and berberine
  • Why all disease will be proven metabolic
  • Whole foods vs junk foods
  • Why people fear hormonal optimization

If you don't eat right, any amount of exercise will be meaningless. If you want to keep the weight off and avoid aging diseases, you have to watch what you eat. It’s also important to improve your insulin sensitivity, and limit all the inflammatory factors causing these diseases. It’s very simple to reduce risk factors just avoid sugar, processed foods and GMOs, exercise, get enough sleep and consider a supplement like metformin. If you dial in your insulin, controlled living, hormonal optimization, and lifestyle factors, you change health habits, increase longevity, and feel good.

As a species, men are 33 years from having no say in the population dynamics of this world. How can changes be made on a macro level to change the path we’re on? How are women being affected by modernization and contraception? What is synthetic estrogen doing to our environment? On this episode, we are joined by Dr. Aaron Grossman and we discuss these insights.

We’re about to have a very uncomfortable conversation on a mass level about what our choices as humans have done to the environment and the direct effect it has on us. - Dr. Aaron Grossman

Takeaways

  1. As a global population men are going to be infertile by 2050.
  2. Just because you’re fat and feeling blue that doesn’t mean you need TRT. You just might need to take better care of your body.
  3. Women are taking a synthetic drug to prevent pregnancy and it’s causing early menopause.
  4. All disease is just an inflammatory state.

At the start of the show, Aaron gave us an update on chekd.com and trends he’s noticing with patients. Next we talked about the alarming study that said men are rapidly losing their ability to be productive. We also discussed how contraception is negatively affecting women, and towards the end of the show we talked about when you should start considering testosterone.

We also discussed;

  • Why we need to take a harsh look at the reality of the medical system
  • Why you don’t automatically qualify for testosterone
  • The importance of dialing in your lifestyle

Because of our environments and habits, men are rapidly losing their ability to be productive and women are experiencing menopause way too early. All the choices we’ve made have led us to where we are, and it’s important to understand that if something isn’t organic, it will have a macro effect on our health and the health of future generations. We have to remember, there really is no one size fits all approach, you really have to optimize based on what works for you. You only have one vessel, so guard the best version of you.

Our routines are making us smarter and dumber at the same time. How can we challenge our brains to stay sharp and focused? How do you stimulate BDNF? How do you optimize your ketogenic dieting so that you get the very best out of it? On this clip, we are joined by supplement expert, Shawn Wells who shares on what we need to become highly productive.

Having the ability to focus and filter out what’s not useful, and channel the best of your abilities to something is where you are highly productive. -Shawn Wells

Three Takeaways

  1. Caffeine has diminishing returns, while theacrine gives you a smooth supply of energy without impairing sleep or needing increased doses.
  2. Crystallized intelligence gets better as we get older, but we lose fluid intelligence when we stop challenging our brains.
  3. Meditation and gratitude rituals help you get into the right state mentally to be able to focus and not be distracted.
  4. Wine: the more astringent the taste, the better.

At the start of the show, Shawn shared how he got started and we shared on the benefits of theacrine, and why it is way better than caffeine. Next we talked about BDNF and its role in improving nerve signaling. We also talked about why multitasking is a trap, and how to become more productive. We also talked about alcohol, and the right type to drink to maintain health. Towards the end of the show, we talked about the relationship between chronic diseases and blood glucose levels.

Shawn also shared on;

  • The difference between crystallized intelligence and fluid intelligence
  • Metabolic flexibility and combining fuel sources
  • Low dose naltrexone vs. high dose naltrexone

BDNF doesn’t just protect existing neurons and improve the functioning of nerve signaling, it stimulates & creates new ones. We get more BDNF by challenging our brains to learn new things and working on maintaining our fluid intelligence. It’s also important to feed our brains and bodies the ingredients that bring out the best in us like theacrine. Even though caffeine is powerful, it can become so addictive we need it to just function at a basic level. When you put care into what you put into your body, you will see incredible results.

The current healthcare system isn’t patient-focused, it’s revenue-focused. How is this current model putting patients at a disadvantage? What much-needed changes can be brought to medicine to make things better, and what kind of doctors do we need to fulfill this? On this episode, Dr Merrill Matschke shares on his transition out of the modern medical system.

True doctoring takes time, but there’s gotta be true compassion and true interest. -Dr. Merrill Matschke

Takeaways

  1. If Western medicine truly cared about the welfare of the patient, doctors wouldn’t be told to see 30-35 patients a day.
  2. Society doesn’t the impact of how we’re living in the biological assault we’re experiencing.
  3. Between 1973 and 2011 there’s been a 50-60% decline in sperm concentration.

At the start of the show, Dr. Merrill shared why he’s transitioning out of traditional medicine, and how he got into cenegenics. He also talked about the current issues with traditional medicine and what is needed to solve them. Next we discussed the two-tiered medical system, and what it will take for people to finally take their health seriously.

We also spoke about;

  • Whether medicine is replacing the human element with automation
  • Why it’s so important to take responsibility for your health
  • How greed has led to the current health crisis we’re seeing

In the current state of healthcare, patients aren’t getting enough time with the doctor for them to be helped. The future of medicine is having doctors who care, who want to work with patients on an individual basis in the amount of time necessary to help them. Additionally, people have to take personal responsibility for their health to counter the biological assault being caused by our lifestyles. Without this we will continue to see a decline in health.

Propaganda has been weaponized to affect the mindsets of certain communities. How do we rise above this and connect with our own truth? How does living a positive life influence other people? Why is being fit a form of rebellion against the system? On this episode, Tobi Abegunde talks about how he turned his life around, and how he pursues his truth.

I look at fitness as a scaffolding for my life. Once you have the discipline and the scaffolding, you don’t want to lose it. -Tobi Abegunde

Takeaways

  1. The concept of meeting your mate in college and working at a company for 25 years doesn’t exist for millennials anymore.
  2. Doing positive things always has a circular effect because the people in your circle can influence other people too.
  3. Society is being conditioned to see masculinity as something to be demonized.
  4. With everything happening in this world, our greatest concern should be gathering resources and taking care of your tribe.

At the start of the show, Tobi shared on his fitness and health journey, and how the decisions he made impacted people around him. Next, we talked about how the media is shaping opinions of masculinity and how men and women aren’t connecting anymore. We also talked about how propaganda has been weaponized, and finding your inner knowing.

We also discussed;

  • How networks and information drive everything
  • The ripple effect of discipline
  • How we can tap into the power within
  • How technology has transformed the flows of information

The media is actively shaping human opinions, and what we need is a consistent and energetic minority to shift the thinking. Whatever is bad and good in our lives comes down to the meaning you give it. How does TRT aid in a clearer understanding of the challenges you face in your life? What are the benefits of compound movements when it comes to working out? How does optimization give you better balance in your life? On this episode, we are joined by TRTrevolution.com contributor Daniel Kelly.

Testosterone doesn’t make you aggressive, it makes you tactical. - Jay Campbell

Three Takeaways

  1. When you’re optimized the lens you apply to your life is much clearer.
  2. There are no shortcuts to building a world class physique.
  3. You can’t take branched chain amino acid when you’re fasting - it is a protein molecule.

At the start of the show we had an esoteric discussion about changing the lens with which you view your life. Next, we talked about the power of essentialism and minimalism, and how TRT doesn’t change your psychological profile. Towards the end, we discussed how optimization helps you pursue better living.

We also talked about;

  • The power of compound movements
  • The Metabolic Blow Torch diet
  • What people get wrong about fasting

Testosterone helps you to make the most out of your life, and it can be instrumental in helping you see life on a more esoteric level. In life, there will always be duality and parity - and seeing pain as a gift will help you bounce back from challenges and difficulties. Everything in life is about being balanced, incredibly introspective and having a ruthless focus on specific areas of your life to get you where you want to go. Balance will give you more composure.

Doctors are pushing prescriptions and creating a drug dependency crisis. What problems is this causing in our society and health? How does hormone imbalance disrupt health? Why is sleep so necessary? On this episode, we’re joined by Dr. Jim Meehan who answers these questions and shares on building a firm foundation for your health.

A lot of the problems we have in society today are caused by chronic disease. - Dr. Jim Meehan

Three Takeaways

  1. A lot of breast cancer is being stimulated by estrogen dominance with no opposing progesterone.
  2. Metabolic disease and insulin resistance are inevitable if you don’t get enough sleep.
  3. Antidepressants don’t help with neurotransmitter deficiencies, they create them.

At the start of the show, Dr. Jim shared the main objective of his work which is delivering uncomplicated medicine in a broken system. Next, he talked about how women’s HRT has been neglected, and how that can be fixed. We discussed the importance of getting enough sleep and how doctors are making people even sicker. Towards the end of the show, we talked about how the body can heal itself.

Dr. Jim also shared on
- How society is pushing men to become emasculated

- The importance of mindset

Optimization is the only way to save the decline we’re experiencing in society and health. It solves the issues caused by living in a blue light era, problems associated with food and SSRIs. Our goal as a society is to build a firm foundation for our health and it starts with how you think. Things like mindfulness, inflammation control, nutrition, detoxification, sleep, exercise and total hormone balance are incredibly important. Thanks to wearable technology, we can create a rich data set to help people become scientists of their own health. The body has an unlimited potential to heal itself, and this is what we have to lean on.

When it comes to TRT, if you don’t have enough money, you can’t play the game. Why is TRT such a big solution to a lot of health concerns? How do you handle low sex hormone binding globulin? Why is customized care so important? On this episode, John Crisler answers these questions and gives us more of his awesome expertise.

There’s a quantum quality to interventional endocrinology that the numbers and how the guy feels don’t have to match up at all. - John Crisler

Three Takeaways

  1. Endocrinology is the only field of medicine where they never naturally think of the half life of the medication.
  2. If you give too much DHA to a man it turns into testosterone, if you give too much DHA to a woman it turns into testosterone.
  3. People on TRT need less SSRIs, Viagra, and diabetes medication.

At the start of the show, we talked about how finances are holding people back from TRT, and why he’s an outspoken advocate for it. Next we talked about low sex hormone binding globulin and the degradation of the environment. Towards the end of the show, we discussed advanced strategies for TRT.

Dr John also spoke about;

  • Why physicians aren’t controlling for estrogen
  • Why men with lower sex hormone binding globulin need more shots
  • Why everyone needs customized care
  • HRT for women
  • Why some men do well on HCG and others don’t

People are still debating whether testosterone is good or bad, but we’ve seen so much evidence of the impact it can have on someone’s health. The need for diabetes medication, SSRIs and other medication is diminished by TRT. The use of testosterone with a progressive physician who knows what they’re doing, will solve a great many ills, but the truth of the matter is, everyone requires customized care.

Ketogenic is the buzzword of the day, but most people who think they are on that diet actually aren’t. What is true ketogenic dieting and who is it for? How do give your body enough carbs for training days? What’s the right attitude to have about gaining muscle? On this episode, Jim Brown answers these questions and shares on latest developments in his business.

You can’t maintain an awesome body and be physically strong and productive in the gym unless you’re replenishing your body’s carbohydrate source. -Jim Brown

Three Takeaways

  1. At 30 you start losing between 1,8% and 3% natural testosterone a year.
  2. The more muscle you have, the more disease resistant you’ll be.
  3. There’s no such thing as gaining muscle without gaining fat.

At the start of the show, we talked about upcoming developments for Optimized Life Nutrition. Next, we talked about the importance of replenishing your carb sources, and the benefits of fasting. We also talked about testosterone loss and how you can prevent it. Towards the end of the show, we debunked some ketogenic dieting myths and clarified who it’s for.

  • Diet on training days vs. diet on fasting days
  • His Forged Training protocols
  • High protein low carb diets and ketogenic diets

Not being proactive about your health is not an option. It’s necessary to make being optimized your priority. Increasing your testosterone levels is the goal for many people these days, but are we going about it the wrong way? Is there such a thing as too much exercise, too much time in the gym? And what can a good night's sleep do to help you? In this episode, we sit down with star coach Taylor Robbins as he shares his thoughts on efficient training and gives some advice on how to achieve the best results on your journey towards a healthier body and a healthier mind.

There's a balancing dance with hormones that we're trying to accomplish with training. - Taylor Robbins

Takeaways + Tactics

  1. For best results with sleep, turn all screens off 90 minutes before you go to bed.
  2. The point of training is to come back stronger - so it's important to have adequate rest between training sessions.
  3. If you don't know what you're doing in the gym, you're not doing yourself a favor. Hire a coach.
  4. Support your adrenal gland with high quality supplements.

We started the show with Taylor talking a bit about his background and his family. Then we discussed the importance of sleep has on testosterone levels. Taylor then gave his thoughts about mediation techniques and supplements. Then we went on to talk about the impact of program design on testosterone levels. We agreed that a lot of training sessions in a row can be damaging. Taylor also mentioned the optimum time for training - up to 45 minutes. We agreed that program design is crucial and means you can achieve results in the gym rather than wasting your time. We also talked about adrenal fatigue and how to deal with it. Taylor then talked about his thoughts on training intensification. Finally, we delved into the Taylor's opinions on the carb-fat continuum and how can ethnicity and culture can affect the decision of how many carbs we eat.

We also talked about;

  • Best ways to get quality sleep
  • Taylor's favorite supplements
  • The 2-day-on-1-off rule
  • How overtraining can confuse body balance
  • The importance of having a good training plan
  • Best supplements for supporting the adrenal gland

Being in good shape isn't just a matter of physicality, you need to work on your mental state, too. When you have a healthy mind, your body will follow soon enough. That's why it's of prime importance to track your sleep schedule and keep it healthy. Make sure to get at least six hours of sound sleep every day. It might just be one simple lifestyle change you need to make to improve your sleeping schedule, however you will start to feel the effects instantly. Additionally, to improve your workout culture, make sure to space out your training sessions. Your body can get overwhelmed if you put too much pressure on it so make sure you give it adequate time to rest and recover. Systems like 2-days-on-1-off can be helpful, but the main thing is finding out what works best for you.

In this episode, we sit down with George Cordova to talk about the power of a positive mindset and making it big in business with small steps.

You learn by waking up in the morning, going to work, putting in a hard day's work, and doing that repetitively for a certain amount of time. - George Cordova

Takeaways + Tactics

  1. You can learn the best skills for being an entrepreneur when you work for somebody else initially. Don't fall into the trap of starting too early.
  2. If a business isn't working, the earlier you realize it the better. It's still a learning experience.
  3. Don't just focus on being a salesperson. Sometimes it's all about what's best for the client.
  4. You're the maker of your own life. Surround yourself with people who appreciate you for who you are.

To start off, George talked about his background and how growing up without a father has affected his life. Then we went on to talk about how it's now more or less a practice to keep our children in a sheltered environment. Afterwards, George shared his story about how he became an entrepreneur and what inspired him to start his own staffing business. Then we talked about how some millennials can sometimes fall into the trap of instant gratification and are in danger of burning out. George then told the story of how he was nearly incarcerated and it molded him into a different person. Then we talked about George's real estate career and how he balances being a sales person with good, fair customer service. We also talked about the challenges of staying on the spiritual path in your life, despite all the difficulties that the modern world presents to us. Finally, George explained his thoughts on good debt and bad debt and how you can break even in your life.

We also discussed;

  • Business failures on the way to success
  • The dangers of starting your business too early
  • Being an Alpha male, when you haven't had one as an example in your own life
  • Survival of the fittest as a principle
  • Why expecting someone else to do everything for you is a problem
  • The best way to help customers in real estate
  • Living for the present day and not worrying about tomorrow

Not everyone has the fortune of having a good start in life. Your childhood doesn't define you. Even if you haven't had a good role model at a young age, you can always look to become one yourself. Focus on your own personal strengths and on what makes YOU happy. Learn from your failures as well as your successes. Surround yourself with people who will motivate you, not ones who will try to discourage you at every step. Finally, focus on what's happening in the now. Improve your current situation, hold on to your values in the present day and that will make tomorrow much easier. Personal and professional successes are dependent on your own values, so as long as you uphold these and follow your beliefs, you will succeed.

Obesity is now a widespread global epidemic. How do you take the first steps towards weight loss? What are the main things to consider when you're trying to live a healthier lifestyle? Does having kids really mean you can never diet? In this episode, weight loss coach Mitch Calvert answers all these questions, share his own story, and gives professional tried-and-tested advice and much more.

I eat now to fuel my body, which is a good thing - it has created a much better person in the end. - Mitch Calvert

Takeaways + Tactics

  1. You need to have a big motivation if you want to lose weight. Just looking good on the beach isn't enough, you have to consciously look to improve your own lifestyle.
  2. Diet like a king - not always easy, but ultimately worth it in the end.
  3. If you can, always go for grass-fed beef, as it doesn't have any of the factory carcinogens found in factory-farmed meat.

We started off the episode with the story of Mitch's own weight loss journey, and what set him on the path towards a healthier life. We then briefly talked about the connections between an obsession with video games and an unhealthy lifestyle. Mitch then went over his top tips about getting into shape and keeping the weight off. Afterwards, we briefly discussed the difficulty of keeping healthy testosterone levels in a busy city environment and how doctors are sometimes unhelpful when it comes to testosterone-related issues. Finally, we discussed some of the benefits of fasting and how joining a group can make dieting and/or exercise a lot easier.

In this episode, we also talked about;

  • Blackmailing yourself into weight loss
  • The importance of finding the right motivation
  • Dieting like a king
  • The benefits of grass-fed beef
  • What Mitch misses about being fat
  • Embracing your hunger

Weight loss is never an easy journey to set yourself on. Finding the right motivator is key in a successful transition to a healthier lifestyle. Your family and friends can help with that, however the change needs to come within YOU. Trick yourself into dieting and exercise, don't fall into temptation and the results will come soon enough. A good physician will know how to advise you on this, especially if your hormone levels are off. Mood-enhancing or weight loss medicine isn't always the answer - sometimes a bottle of testosterone can fix all the problems you've had until that point. Educate yourself and realize the need for a better, healthier lifestyle and that will help not just your body but your mind, too.

We’re living in an empire of complete deceit. How do we insulate ourselves from all the lies? How can we strive for the truth of the world? What can we make of all the supernatural experiences taking place in this world? On this episode, we are joined by “the X-Man” John deSouza who shares on these topics and tells us about the perils of popular culture.

Make sure you disavow, insulate and separate yourself from all mainstream media news. -John deSouza

Takeaways

  1. There are two steps to evaluating material that comes forward, you evaluate the credibility of the person and the credibility of the material.
  2. Popular culture is constantly putting out hypnotic programming.
  3. Investigators have to follow the investigation, follow the clues, but then apply their own knowledge and experience to what they’ve learned across hundreds of other cases.

At the start of the show, John shared how he got started at the FBI and the supernatural experiences he’s had. Next we talked about the dog walker revolution, and why you need to avoid mainstream media. We talked about pop culture and the effect it has had on us. John also talked about how investigators evaluate information, and the two-tier credence test. Towards the end of the show, we talked about the Wachowski brothers, and how the Matrix was made by mistake

John also shared;

  • Why is he called the X-Man
  • How to strive for the truth of the world
  • What's happening in Antarctica
  • The double trick of Roswell
  • Why Jupiter Rising is the story of the Universe

Popular culture is constantly trying to control our minds, and it takes conscious effort and choice to unplug ourselves from all that. If you want to find the truth, you have to do everything in your power to disavow, insulate and separate yourself from all mainstream media news. Withdraw from it, don’t trust it and don’t listen to it. We need to break away from the lies, and help each other find the truth. If you don’t, you’re stuck and under the control of forces working against our own enlightenment.

In the 21st century world, people make the mistake of not wanting to be vulnerable, and they miss out on so much. How do we overcome this and get the most value out of life? What is the ecstasy of a sore toe? How do you keep your skeletal system balanced? On this episode, Jon Turk shares his amazing life story and talks about how he stays in flow.

You can compensate for than nanosecond loss of reaction time, with this long term mental space. -Jon Turk

Takeaways

  1. You have to go inside yourself and find out where your power is and follow that power.
  2. Once you open your spirit to vulnerability, flow starts.
  3. Too often sports will stress a set of muscles, and not the counter opposing set so you throw your skeletal system out of balance.

At the start of the show, Jon shared his life story, how he stays in shape and what he eats to stay energized. He also talked about how to follow and find your power, and how to connect with the tundra. We also talked about the importance of vulnerability, and why so many people miss out on it. Towards the end of the show, we talked about how to get through barriers.

Jon also shared insights on;
- His time in Siberia
- The ecstasy of a sore toe
- The reciprocal relationship we have with nature

You have to draw your power from everywhere, not just physical or emotional. If you want to realize and effectualize your power to reach your optimal performance, you have to go in and find out the different parts of you and integrate them. You have to combine everything, and when you combine everything into a whole it’s completely glorious. Flow is being the moment and accepting everything that happens. As long as you can find yourself and not react emotionally, you’re going to be able to go through life and see it for what it really is vs. how we’re programmed to see it.
