The key to raising our vibration lies in letting go of the things we can’t control, but in light of everything that’s happened over the past few months, that can be much easier said than done.

With so many of us feeling on-edge at the moment, our first instinct is to grab tight and not let go. How can we even begin to find a sense of calm when it feels like the world around us is falling apart?

Is it possible to find inner peace in the midst of pandemonium?

In this episode, meditation coach and creator of the Be Time MethodⓇ, Josephine Atluri shares how to create stillness in our lives.

Three Takeaways

  • Why addressing our trauma is the first step to letting go:

Trauma becomes emotional baggage, and until we address it, it will continue to weigh us down and stop us from optimizing our lives. We have to dig deep to discover what’s really affecting us.

  • Why we need to change the way we think about meditation:

Many people shy away from meditation because they have preconceived ideas of what it entails, but there’s no one way to go about it. At its core, meditation is about achieving stillness, and we all have different ways of getting to that point.

  • The importance of relinquishing our expectations and labels:

It’s impossible to find our calm when we’re trying to control everything around us, so stop trying to. Let go of expectations of what ‘should’ be happening and shift focus inwards.

Our bodies are constantly exposed to environmental toxins from the food we eat, the products we use, and even the air we breathe.

Any conversation about optimization is incomplete if we’re not actively working to release those toxins from our bodies. Unless we have a way to detoxify our bodies, we’ll stay stuck in a cycle of inflammation, disease, and destruction.

Sweating is our body’s natural mechanism for releasing toxins, and a powerful way to combat the environmental poisons around us. The best way to implement a detoxification routine is through an infrared heat therapy sauna. This therapy will impact every area of our health including joint health, weight management, aging, and recovery.

How does sauna therapy boost our optimization? How can we use an in-home infrared sauna in our daily routines?

In this episode, sauna expert, Richard Ori talks about how sauna therapy works and the benefit of having a sauna in your home.

Three Takeaways

  • The difference between heat therapy sauna and infrared therapy sauna:

Conventional heat therapy is the application of surface heat to the body, which leads to perspiration on the surface level. It’s what you would find in a gym sauna. Infrared is a light wave that penetrates deeper into the fat layers of the body to push out toxins.

  • Why vigorous sweating needs to be part of our optimization:

The toxins we accumulate from our environment get stuck in our bodies and exacerbate inflammation. If we don’t get rid of the toxins in our bodies, we won’t get the full benefit of everything else we do to optimize our health.

  • How infrared sauna therapy works:

The light waves of an infrared sauna create heat that penetrates your body and pushes toxins out through the pores. Using a sauna regularly will massively improve vascular and arterial flow and cleanse your blood and vascular networks.

For many years, the deep penetrating heat from infrared saunas has been known to be beneficial to soothing aching muscles and reducing stress. Recently, people have hailed the health benefits of negative ions created by salt caves for immune deficiencies, asthma, and allergy sufferers. Together, the sauna and salt cave provide a vigorous body detox. Today, SpiritualQuest combines the infrared sauna experience with the benefits of a Himalayan salt cave right in the comfort of your home. We live in a world where being busy and on-the-go is constantly rewarded, but at the end of the day, it’s important to remember that we’re human beings, not human doings.

By focusing all our energies on doing, we’ve lost touch with our ability to just be. In the process, we’ve also severed our ties with a core part of ourselves. The question is, can we regain that connection?

How can we start checking in with ourselves, mind, body, and soul more frequently- and is that even possible in a world so geared towards a fast-paced lifestyle?

In this episode, Primal Health Coach, Charlène Gisèle shares how we can get back into the habit of being.

Three Takeaways

  • Why it’s possible to have it all, as long as we’re checking in with ourselves:

There’s nothing inherently wrong with aspiring to material success, but it should never come at the expense of our wellbeing. It doesn’t matter how much money we accumulate if we’re too weak to play with our grandchildren or too uncomfortable to enjoy our lives.

  • How to stay in awe of the world around us:

The key to being present lies in finding the magnificence of nature all around us. Even if we’re unable to get into the wild, taking a moment to look at our hands and marvel at their abilities is a great way to acknowledge the beauty of everything that is.

  • How to start each day being more present:

Instead of diving out of bed every morning and grabbing hold of a device, take some time to just be. Stretch, massage any stiff areas and be playful, and avoid any technology for at least an hour after waking up.

More people than ever before are trying to get onto the path of consciousness, but despite the willingness, most just don’t know where to start.

How can young conscious beings increase their awareness when they’ve never even been taught what meditation is, let alone the right way to do it?

We’re living in the information age, and that should mean everyone has access to the guidance they need. However, there’s simply too much information to sift through to get any real answers.

How can someone entirely new to the world of consciousness building tell if they’re accessing the right information?

In this episode, co-owner of Propane Fitness, Dr. Yusef Smith shares how to increase consciousness at a beginner’s level.

Three Things You'll Learn From This Episode:

  • Why silence is the key to consciousness:
When we’re forced to be alone with our thoughts, we begin to unpack each layer of our emotions. Sometimes we have to deprive our senses to truly connect with our minds.

  • How our physical bodies are impacted by our thoughts:
Every thought and emotion has a physical counterpart in our bodies. The benefit of this is that we can recondition ourselves through both mental reorganization and by working directly with the body through stretch work, breathwork, and meditation.

  • Why we need to stop looking for a quick fix to consciousness:
We wouldn’t expect to see massive results after a 6 minute workout, and we shouldn’t expect to be fully conscious after just one meditation. Consciousness takes commitment, and if we want to see full benefits from it we have to practice regularly.
