Our routines are making us smarter and dumber at the same time. How can we challenge our brains to stay sharp and focused? How do you stimulate BDNF? On this clip, we are joined by supplement expert, Shawn Wells who shares on what we need to become highly productive.

At the start of the show, Shawn shared how he got started and we shared on the benefits of theacrine, and why it is way better than caffeine. Next we talked about BDNF and its role in improving nerve signaling. We also talked about why multitasking is a trap, and how to become more productive. We also talked about alcohol, and the right type to drink to maintain health. Towards the end of the show, we talked about the relationship between chronic diseases and blood glucose levels.

BDNF doesn’t just protect existing neurons and improve the functioning of nerve signaling, it stimulates & creates new ones. We get more BDNF by challenging our brains to learn new things and working on maintaining our fluid intelligence. It’s also important to feed our brains and bodies the ingredients that bring out the best in us like theacrine. Even though caffeine is powerful, it can become so addictive we need it to just function at a basic level. When you put care into what you put into your body, you will see incredible results.
